This uses a self winding Swiss automatic movement, the new Powermatic 80, offering an incredible 80 hour power reserve and date function.This special edition is the result of Certina partnering with the Sea Turtle Conservancy, a Florida based organisation that aims to conserve the habitats and ensure the ongoing survival of these majestic creatures. The Sea Turtle Conservancy was founded in 1959, the same year as Certina developed the DS standard, which is symbolised in the turtles in the brand logo and caseback ever since.
